Robin Etherington
Robin Etherington MA, MLPW, CMM III has 25 years of professional work experience in the culture area, including working at national and international museums such as ROM, Canadian Museum of Civilization, Glenbow Museum, National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico and Director of Guelph Museums.
Robin has taught at the college level and thoroughly enjoys speaking in public and working with people. She has a Master’s degree in Museum Studies and won a CMA national award for museum management. Robin has extensive experience working at various levels of government, including for municipal governments managing professional personnel, capital projects, strategic planning and heritage and cultural planning and policy development initiatives.
In addition, Robin has professional experience in the private sector having worked as a technical communicator for Nortel Networks. This experience gives Robin an understanding of business and the ability to partner cultural organizations and stakeholders with businesses and business interests.
