Stephen BurnettStephen Burnett is a founding partner of Burnett Thorne Cultural Tourism, Charting Culture and a life-long member of Canada’s Tourism industry. Stephen’s experience covers cultural research, product development, tour operating, cruise ship charter and itinerary planning, in the domestic, outbound and inbound industry sectors.

 

Carl BrayCarl Bray PhD CSLA CAHP MCIP RPP is Principal of BRAY Heritage providing services in the research, assessment, planning and development of cultural heritage resources. Carl has professional experience in both the public and private sectors and has successfully completed projects across Canada and in the United States, the Caribbean and Great Britain.

 

Robin EtheringtonRobin Etherington MA, MLPW, CMM III has 25 years of professional work experience in the culture area, including working at national and international museums. Robin has professional experience in the private sector having worked as a technical communicator for high tech firms.

 

Our Recent Initiatives

Stephen Burnett

In Ontario, he plays a pivotal role in the development of Great Lakes Cruising and the Development of the “The Rideau Cultural Corridor”. The Rideau Canal was recently inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stephen has recently prepared strategic plans for the bi-centennial of the War of 1812.

Carl Bray

Served a cultural planner for the City of Niagara Falls Heritage Master Plan, the City of Cambridge Heritage Master Plan, heritage planner within the team who prepared City of Kingston Archaeological Master Plan and led the team that prepared the Heritage Conservation District Study for the Village of Queenston, and with Burnett Thorne Cultural Tourism, he has prepared strategic plans for the commemoration of the bi-centennial of the War of 1812 for Toronto as well as southwestern and southeastern Ontario.

Robin Etherington

Won a CMA national award for museum management and model policy development, lead team to develop a Commemorative Integrity Statement for Kingston City Hall, lead team in development of City of Kingston’s arts fund, project managed an international virtual art exhibition “Perspectivas,” and served as script writer for a multimedia production by a First Nations group.
