Charting Culture A New Approach to Cultural Master Planning
What is Cultural Master Planning?

Our approach to cultural master planning incorporates three disciplines that emphasize our local knowledge and international experience:

  • Heritage Master Planning which strengthens the community’s built heritage and cultural heritage resources;
  • Cultural Tourism Research & Development which positions the community’s cultural assets and opportunities within an economic framework; and
  • Cultural management and capacity building which help the community make effective use of its cultural resources and organizational abilities.

We have professional work experience and expertise in:

  • cultural planning and charting culture;
  • integrating cultural planning with cultural tourism, heritage resource planning and community planning;
  • cultural resource management;
  • strategies for creative partnerships development;
  • pioneering work in sustainable cultural development;
  • public consultation skills; and
  • communications with internal stakeholders and for promotion.
